We booked the Thames Diner to cater for our wedding buffet on August 6th 2022. We were shocked on arrival at our evening buffet/disco venue to find that there was NO buffet. This should have been our happiest day. Instead, I had the stress of trying to find an out of hours phone number and announcing to the guests that there would be no buffet. Very embarrassing. We managed to locate the caterer who told me she thought the wedding was September 6th, despite us going in twice to book and pay. Eventually, the woman turned up with an array of deep fried food and some bread buns. Not the cold buffet that we were promised. The food ran out. The venue told us that the same caterer had forgotten a funeral buffet. We tried to get some money back but all she offered was two roast dinners! We are very disappointed. How could she get it so wrong?
