it was a bit hard to get a table here, as it is quite small. we were waiting for a table for four children. They had empty seats outside, but it was pretty cold. we have looked through the menu during the waiting so that the order did not last so long. they have different types of maic and they can choose what they have up, sausage or cake. they then also choose a gravure to go over everything. I tried the vegetarian sausages and it was in order. the gravur was nice, but I wasn't a fan of the maische. I found it a bit stoney and not very light. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday because he loves pie and we've both been before on our own so we know the food is good. It was lovely when we went together this time, it was at a busier time so it was different to when we went alone and the staff couldn't help enough. Very friendly and happy. We rang ahead because we were running late and they seemed grateful we called and welcomed us as soon as we got there. Food was quick and absolutely delicious. We also had dessert which was lovely. I cannot recommend this place enough for it's staff, food, music and prices. Always a pleasure.
A friend of ours was visiting from Barcelona he’d never had pie mash so this was perfect. Food was excellent. Service was outstanding. Wine was gorgeous. The only disappointment was that the menu offered Dairy free mash (I’m mildly lactose intolerant) there was none to be had. The lady who served us was bubbly friendly. She made great recommendations tried desperately to get us to have something of the dessert menu but we couldn’t be swayed on this occasion.
On a very rainy January night in London the welcome at Mother Mash just off Carnaby Street was outstanding. Lovely, lovely staff, who were super efficient and very friendly. The food was absolutely excellent! Proper, tummy-filling, comforting grub. IWe really liked the simplicity of the menu: choose your mash, then either sausages or a pie, and a good serving of gravy. Totally yum. Decent wine and beer selection as well.

The food was great as usual! I'm happy that the vegan mushroom pie is now a permanent menu item. Our meal was delicious. It was my friend's first time visiting and she really enjoyed it. The staff was fantastic as well. It can get quite crowded so be sure to make a reservation!
I definitely love this place. Staff is very nice, professional and could suggest the best for your personal tastes. Here you can eat the best British food all over London. I give more than 5 stars to this place. Thank you so much for everything
This is the best place I’ve been to in London. The food is absolutely incredible, the workers are 10/10. The atmosphere is fantastic you almost forget you are in the hustle and bustle of central London. Would 100% recommend to anyone!!
I was not disappointed with the food at Mother Mash, it was absolutely top-notch. The menu offers something for everyone and is great value. The staff were very friendly, and I would highly recommend a visit if you are in London.
