Not what it once was. Decided to come back to the Golf Club for dinner after attending a function here many years ago. The restaurant has a lovely intimate feel and the view was amazing (now there seems to be a McDonalds style playground blocking some of the view which doesn 't really suit the theme). The service was definitely not like the warm, friendly and funny guys that served at the function I attended, however this was overshadowed and forgotten by the mediocre food that soon followed. My partners parma was burnt and my pasta was cold. I hope this was just a once off because id love to come back and experience better service and perhaps a better menu.
Wow I was looking for somewhere special to take my aunt for her birthday near her home and after reading these reviews decided to book. The service and food were faultless. The restaurant stayed open for just the six of us despite no other guests. The staff were very accommodating and did not hurry us along. We ordered 3 courses and wine. The truffled polenta stack rivalled the best Melbourne restaurants at a fraction of the price while the fillet steak was nothing short of perfect. The flourless orange cake was to die for. This is without a doubt one of the best restaurants in the west with very reasonable prices and fine dining quality. We will be back
This restaurant is a hidden gem in the West. The views of the city are breathtaking, and the dining experience is consistently impressive. We have visited again in the past year, using it as our Friday morning coffee spot with friends who often stay for lunch after exploring the menu. I highly recommend making a reservation, as the space fills up quickly for lunch.
I often come here for work lunches as I work around te corner and there really isn't much around). I don't think there has wen a time yet where I could say I had an enjoyable experience. From forgotten meals, to burnt parmas, and entrees either not coming or coming out with mains... Quality of food is of a standard pub.

Sunday Lunch. I come here all the time for Sunday lunch with my mum. The staff as SUPER friendly and lovely. We usually get a parma+chips+salad for $10 which is not bad, but have recently noticed the parma is smaller, there are fewer chips and less salad than before.
great service and price! the view of the city offers a spectacular scene after the completion of a round golf. my $18 bark meat burger was delicious for a golf clubhouse much better than others I ate in right burger spots, well made!
the event coordinators here are very irresponsible and not helpful. they have e-mail, called and visit them personally and still nobody is able to help me in my function question!
It’s always a challenging track regardless of the weather conditions. Head Pro Geoff Ross and his staff are always there to great you with a smile.

the curs is in good condition and the staff is always friendly. recommend the others to go and try to play there
great place to hit a ball. only went into the road, but it was worth it.
