Excellent sushi, I go here all the time when I'm in Atlantic city. The service is also very good, the staff and owner are all very nice and helpful when you dine here. I had tried a lot of sushi places down here, and this is the only place that serves real authentic sushi in the area. It's BYOB as far as alcohol goes. This makes it even more appealing. The hibachi and hot food are also very good, and the guy that works the hibachi is quite entertaining and also a very nice person. I can't say enough about this place. Took a chance on trying a new sushi place that delivers to Ventnor. I'm disappointed to say I would never order again or recommend to anyone. I ordered sushi, various rolls, and the honey siracha chicken wings. The sauce on the chicken wings was tasty, but the quality of the chicken was terrible. After I took a bite and actually saw the chicken under the fried breading, I could not eat anymore of them. The quality of the sushi was very poor. All had a slightly off taste and you could tell from the texture, it was not high quality. Ended up throwing away 75% of what I ordered. Would not recommend.
My daughter asked to eat at Mt Fuji to celebrate her 13th birthday. The food was freshly prepared by our funny/pleasant hibachi chef. The service was good and got our requests quickly. They are honest... My daughter had a stack of gift cards she received for her birthday. Later that night she realized she must have dropped them somewhere. When I called the next morning to ask if they were found there they said yes. So happy they were honest and my daughter was able to collect her bday gifts back...when they could just have used them. Thanks again Mt Fuji!!
I spent the weekend in Ocean City, NJ, and we loved this restaurant so much that we returned for two consecutive nights! On the first night, we enjoyed the sushi, which was absolutely fantastic. The following night, we tried the hibachi, and it was just as delicious. The staff was friendly, and I adored the interior of the restaurant. Their booths feature traditional Japanese seating with mats to sit on, which I absolutely loved! I will definitely come back the next time I'm in the area. Plus, the prices are great! Although I've seen some negative reviews, this has consistently been my favorite restaurant in the area for hibachi and sushi. Whenever I've dined here, I've been seated promptly, and the service is always fast. I had a wonderful experience yesterday, and I will definitely keep coming back and recommending it to others!
I've been going to mt Fuji for over 10 years and they have always stayed consistent, their dining room is always clean and their staff is wonderful! I've tried almost every type of sushi in the menu and they never disappoint! Perfect place for a first date or a nice lunch!
