We stayed in Tournus for one night and chanced upon Nadia's. She was so full of character and fun as we read her menu boards we couldn't resist. Our meal was truely lovely. The Surprise steak melted in the mouth and the freshly made rosti was delicious. The Tart Tartan was the perfect end. A complimentary glass of fire water (which my much braver partner drank) finished off the evening. I was presented with a bag of fresh mint - I'm not sure why - but we haven't laughed so much and felt so relaxed in a restaurant for ages. When we arrived Nadia told us "this evening this is your home" and she wasn't wrong. A three course meal and 2 litres of wine for less that €60. Excellent value.

we entered after having hit several other closed establishments in winter and have seen the other positive reviews. and probably false. a single menu, some basic dishes, not cooked on site, 2 choices of wine, atmosphere of another era and high prices without relation to the product. families of English and Dutch tourists were also berned. it is certainly not easy to hold a restaurant in a small town of province, but good. In short, the tourist office must work urgently with this establishment to review the benefits.

This address was recommended by the owner of our chambre d'hotes, and frankly, the reason we went in was because it looked like our size skate out. He talked duits and French and gave us tips for the menu. The escargots, the salad, but definitely the steak of the regional beef was delicious. No big card, no haute cuisine, but honest food, plenty of pods, a cozy and mental service, and when we went home, the ladies got a bunch of lilies of despair! It was a really nice experience.

In this restaurant, more human warmth than sweets. When everything is closed around or almost, a place to fold in the city center that does not demerit provided that you are confined to the menu of the day at 12.50. The boss is really nice.
