The atmosphere inside was quite typical of Indian restaurants I've been to: dim, minimal lighting, making it a good spot to take a date, especially if you're having a breakout. The booths were surprisingly spacious, seating six to eight people, depending on how wide everyone is. The tables were also taller than usual, which left my shorter friends dangling their legs like kids. I ordered the chicken tikka masala curry, but I was disappointed. It had a creamy, sour tomato flavor that didn’t compare to the tikka masala from Bombay, which I consider the gold standard. It didn’t really satisfy my cravings for Indian food. Incredibly bland food, I’m so disappointed. I’ve eaten at the original location for years and was so excited when they opened a new spot near me. First time ordering will be my last the Chicken Tikka Masala has almost no flavor, and the yellow daal is more like yellow water with the usual ingredients floating in it. Seems like my experience is an outlier based on so many other great reviews, but unfortunately it’s the experience I had.

Namaste Kathmandu was fantastic! I ordered the Chicken Tikka and loved every bite. The naan bread is definitely a must-try. This place has a great vibe and is worth a visit. Just a heads-up: you don't have to choose the buffet; their extensive menu offers plenty of other options. However, I felt that there were too many vegetables in each dish, and it could have used a better balance with the meat.

Without a doubt, this is the best Indian restaurant in the Salt Lake Valley. My favorite dish is the saag paneer, while the kids can't get enough of the butter chicken. My husband loves the korma, especially when he orders it extra spicy. The tandoor roti bread is also exceptional compared to other roti I've tried. Overall, it's just a fantastic place! I was excited to try this place after reading all the positive reviews. It is without a doubt the most bland Indian food I have ever eaten. The dishes had heat but were 2/10 on flavor. The chicken was terribly dry. The vegetables were cooked well, but had absolutely no flavor.The service was friendly and kind, but painfully slow. Sad to say that I won’t come back.

We ordered takeout for a large group and they prepared and packed the food in a box. Everything was delicious. Everyone from all tastes (spice loving to less so) thoroughly enjoyed the food. A nice twist on the standard Indian fare and very tasty.

Wow!! I’ve found my favorite restaurant! Their food is very tasty, we ordered 3 different dishes and 2 appetizers. The portions are great, more than we could eat, and we could tell they were made with fresh ingredients.
