Nawab Indian Cuisine

I had a wonderful experience visiting here with my husband a couple weeks ago. We?ve been craving good Indian food ever since moving to the area and a friend recommended this restaurant. We were greeted with friendly service and loved the intimate ambiance inside. Everything we ordered was delicious and met our cravings! Unbelievably delicious food!! I had the Samosas for appetizer and a Kofta dish for my main meal. Kofta are a kind of vegetarian dumpling-like food. It was served in a delectable creamy sauce with rice on the side. This was the first time I've tried a Kofta dish and I am now looking forward to trying these delicacies at other Indian restaurants I frequent. 4 stars is the very best I can offer.. Ok.. the bad news: we showed up at 6pm on a Saturday night.. without reservations. Had to wait 25 minutes.. no big deal.. Sat at the table 10 minutes.. and our waiter came by. Took app, drink, and entrée order. This is when I start the clock 15 minutes later.. drinks hit the table. Another 20 minutes.. appetizers.. 30 minutes later... dinner.. Ok... the wait was kinda long.. and staff was busy.. not like it was just us either,

Finally found a place well dressed up like India. It was all good and given a complete taste of Indian spices and garlic Breads and the bottle of Taj Mahal makes you feel at heaven. We were earlier trying out some Italian Restaurant but It was really soothing experience being at Nawab's. Réservez une table maintenant

Great Indian food, but it's become pricier over the years, and the portions have decreased as well. Sunday buffets are a great opportunity to try new flavors!

The Lunch Buffett was very good. The Staff were quick to answer questions and bring Naan to the Table. The Restaurant is update with finishing and atmosphere.

Absolutely a lovely find in Roanoke - a lovely town with a lovely Main Street with this lovely restaurant in the midst of several other fine dining options.

flavorful and rich saag chicken with authentic naan in healthy portion. GM Neal was a great host. Fanfare is warranted. Recommend highly for Desi food
