New Delhi Tandoori Indian Restaurant

I'd encourage you to visit this charming Indian restaurant. The food is amazing, fresh, perfectly balanced spices. The produce is excellent and the chefs produce consistently tasty food. It's not a fancy' place, but its clean and hospitable.The menu is very reasonably priced - we eat here about once a fortnight and the bill for 2 is about $60 which includes a couple of drinks, entree and mains an naan. Oh the naan bread. The staff are professional, courteous and pleasant. The food comes out fast. Corkage is $3 and there is a bottle shop next door. Parking is easy and free. The decor is quaint!I really enjoy the samosas, the tandoori lamb cutlets (huge portion size) and the prawn korma. Best...

This local restaurant serving Indian cuisine is a gem.The food is excellent, excellent, excellent!The menu is significant & varied so dining there just once is not an option. You will need to keep coming back to sample more of their fantastic dishes.The decor or fitout is not slick by any means, the quality & taste of the food is the drawcard here.The value for money is outstanding. We were a party of 2, we shared 3 entrees, 2 mains, rice, 2 naan breads & a few soft drinks and our bill was just over $60.00The restaurant is licensed & BYO (Wine Only) & there is a bottle shop next door. Corkage is $3.00/bottle.

Firstly, the waitress didn't smile nor look like she could be bothered being there. We were only 2 of the 4 customers there so she wasn't rushed off her feet??!Being vegetarian, I eat at many Indian restaurants & the food here is ... Just boring & bland! Where are the spices? Textures? Taste? Vegies were soggy & frankly I've had better Indian in a food court. To boot, the worst house red wine I've had!

Great Indian resturant, with a fantastic selection of food. curries, sizzling tandori chick (served still sizzling), rice, breads. They do a special order for my daughter who is vego. Happy to oblige, but get someone who understands clearly, sometimes bit of mixup there. But usually all good, staff friendly, prices reasonable. The food was great and staff was very friendly as i received a warm welcome. The place itself was beautiful, interesting and CLEAN which would make anyone comfortable. Prices for food was great specially the lunch special thallis and generous amount of food was provided. All in all definately worth a visit and checking out.

Moved up the road, rediscovered and still brilliant fresh and varied menu. I have still to find an Indian restaurant as good. When in Melbourne from Bendigo we make this a night out.
