Excellent Chinese Restaurant. Beautifully remodeled three years ago. My son and I shared dinner for two from the menu. It included a large bowl of at least two servings each of sizzle rice soup followed by a large appetizer plate of egg roll and crispy Rangoon then two large entrees of chicken and green beans and spicy beef in a black bean and onion sauce.The entrees came hot with green beans that were fresh and firm and meat that was well seasoned and tender. The dinner ended with traditional fortune cookies that correctly predicted that we would be back again. Forgot to say the cost was just $33.00 plus tax and tip for the two of us.
I have visited this restaurant several times. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The food is consistently delicious no matter what I order. The atmosphere is pleasant and the fish tank is clean. I didn't give it a 5-star rating overall because the prices are a bit high compared to the portion sizes offered at similar restaurants. Typically, Chinese restaurants provide enough food for leftovers, but the portions here are just enough to finish in one sitting. The fortune in my cookie was a bit ominous, but that doesn't affect my overall experience. Check out the video for more details on what I'm referring to.
The food at this establishment is delectable! Amazing! Stupendous! I have been to many such places and this one is bar none number one on my list! If you are in Farmington Hills, it’s worth a visit! Management and staff did well. If you have to wait it’s worth it! We had the beef lo mein and mushroom trio with chicken. They were awesome!
This cozy little restaurant serves tasty Chinese dishes that are made fresh and hot. We especially loved the Szechuan chicken and the crab rangoon.

The Chinese food at this restaurant is excellent. The atmosphere is small but cozy. The staff and owners are very friendly and welcoming.
Every dish my husband and I have ordered has been very flavorful leaving you wanting more for take out.
Always have a great meal here. Smaller portions than some other places but higher quality.
Exceptional food and service! Reasonable prices. The New Mandarin Garden is #1 in my book.
