Niko Niko - Réservation de table

Niko Niko, despite its Japanese sounding name, is a casual Cantonese inexpensive eatery targeted at students and customers seeking inexpensive meals. We went there for lunch about a week ago. From its lunch menu we selected (a) congee with sliced fish fillets and meat balls;...(b) stir-fried flat rice noodle with beef in preserved black bean sauce; and (c) deep fried Chinese donut. The congee tasted good (MSG but the fish fillets were dry and tasteless, and we did not expect the texture of the meat balls to be similar to fish balls. The noodle tasted good and the beef was soft, but the dish was covered by a rather thick and sticky corn starch based sauce. About minutes after I left, I found...

One of the better Hongky style “tea” “restaurants” I’ve been to recently. Situated opposite holmesglen and it’s frequently a lot by students.. our favourite here is the deep fried soft shell crab and the congee. Will definitely return to try other items on the menu... flavours are quite authentic.. to add to that hongky authenticity... on the way out paying the bill by card we ask for a receipt. Only to be loudly yelled back at us “it’s in front of you” . We wanted the credit card receipt.. “I can’t give you that now, have to wait for the machine!” I just smiled and patiently waited... haha yep oh how I miss Hong Kong service sometimes :

This has been our local Chinese since we moved to the area several years ago. It may be no frills, but the food has always been good. We love the stewed pork knuckle and soup prawn dumplings. As long as you are not looking for...the sort of Cantonese dishes from much larger upmarket restaurants, we think it’s as good as anywhere and better than many. Service is a family affair but always attentive and quick. Never had any tummy issues. Great for a quick meal for two. Heaps better easily than the Macca’s nearby!!

Cantonese, Hong Kong-hawker style comfort food. Great if you want crispy noodles, wonton noodle soup, fried rice or chow kway del (beef flat noodle). The congee a bit burnt but really yummy. Service was abrupt to the point of indifference. The restaurant needs sprucing up...and a good refurbishment but food was delicious! Good value for money. Located right next to Homesglen station, this restaurant is a hidden gem! The interior may not be anything to write home about and the service is average, but if you're in the mood for some authentic Hong Kong cuisine, this is the spot for you. I highly recommend trying the fried rice rolls and wonton noodle soup. The claypots are also a must-try and absolutely delicious.

The food was a tiny serving of tasteless cheap eatery. Although it was only per serve I think I would have had more value for money at McDonalds over the road. Also the cleanliness of the restaurant was concerning, one can only wonder what...the kitchen was like. I hope that I will not be sick tomorrow thank you for the for the worst meal of without a doubt.

right next to homesglen station is this jewel of a place! in the interior is nothing special and service is incomparable, but if you are looking for some good old fashion hongkong eating, this is the place to go. I love the fried rice rolls here as well as the crisp nudel soup. the canned are also delicious

We have a office near Niko Nik, this restaurant is a great place to order lunch. Niko Nikos takeaway service is very efficiency. Niko Nikos food is also on point especially their beef noodle soup. we have her lamb steamship with sweet. good for 2 adults and 1 child. ask only after 2 bowls. so good. her tomato rice and crispy vermicilli are also very good. the crispy vermicilli can be somewhat oily, but the wok hei is good. I'll be back in a moment.

Our family patronises this place quite often. The food is very tasty and reasonable in price. The variety is quite good.
