Booked on Dimmi and showed up quite late but the staff were super accomodating and lovely. Ordered a sparkling wine which was quite sweet but pleasant enough. The food was amazing !!!
Started with a green salad topped with shredded wontons. Sauces and condiments on the table. Next up was a bowl of sashimi with ponzu sauce which was superb. Nasu dengaku followed and was delightfully silky and more-ish. I adore eggplant cooked this way. Mains were chicken teriyaki and a chicken teriyaki. Both were succulent and beautifully cooked and presented. Excellent value, great service and a lovely setting- go if you enjoy Japanese food which is well presented.
Food was ok although overpriced, took forever for the meals to come out. One meal came out approximately 20 minutes before the other two did. I had to ask where the other two were which came out however we received no apology or acknowledgement of this. My meal was also cold, seemed as though it had been sitting there waiting. I would not go here again, there are plenty of Japanese restaurants in this vicinity whom have far better service and food.
Amazing, authentic Japanese cuisine and fantastic value lunch specials. The nikuya bento box with kurobuta pork is incredible and their chirashi is also beautiful, filled with generous servings of fresh, delicious fish. Not to mention the service is outstanding- so warm, attentive and accommodating.
Food was fantastic, the wagyu was fresh, sashimi was pretty good as well! Well looked after by one of their staff members, would definitely be back again for another bbq feast

U need to be consistent. Serving different types of fish in your Sakana bento to diff tables at the same time is not good enough. Shame on u.
