After the first 18 months of Covid-19, most Chinese restaurants have raised their prices by a minimum of 20%. This place kept the same prices, which is a bargain. It's hard to find an order of steamed dumpling for $9, not to mention that it tastes good and decent portions. We went as a group of 12 people and all gave it thumbs up. The staff is limited in English fluency and accepts no reservations.. nevertheless they try to accommodate when making requests. Will return n try more items off the menu. The quality of the food has declined while the prices have increased. It seems that since there's hardly anyone dining here at night, they have to charge excessively to compensate. Charging $2.50 per person for rice? Seriously? I ordered two dishes with rice and ended up paying $50 on a Monday night. I clearly don't appreciate overpaying for mediocre food. There's also a distinct unpleasant odor in the air. I'd recommend steering clear of this place; it seems like everyone else is doing the same.
It was pretty empty when we went to this Northern Chinese restaurant and our party of 9 ordered 9 dishes to share. Most of the dishes were spicy, but kinda bland. I remember liking 2 of the dishes: chicken with mushroom and another dish with liver. The service was non-attentive, but this restaurant was pretty cheap during lunch. 3 stars!! This restaurant is a small, tucked-away spot with somewhat uneven service. However, the flavors and value of the food truly stand out. They offer excellent and authentic North Chinese specialties, including sour cabbage pork soup, dumplings, and meat cakes. It's comfort food done right.
I was specifically in search of authentic corn soup and glass noodles, which are quite hard to come by these days. This restaurant offered both, and they were excellent! The prices were reasonable, the portions were generous, and the staff was friendly.
We visited this restaurant on Chinese New Year and arrived an hour before closing. Despite the late hour, the staff did not rush us and were very attentive, which we really appreciated. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Thank you!
The fried rice is delicious here but I found not one but TWO long a hairs in my food. The women who prepped my food had their hair nets half on and this may have caused the issue. Definitely not be eating here again, disgusting.

The restaurant has a simple, bare-bones atmosphere. The food is authentic and affordable, with flavors that are not overwhelmingly spicy but still very enjoyable. The spicy fried chicken cartilage was exceptional.
