Nur Muhammad Cafe - Réservation de table

Found this place while searching on Google one night for Malaysian eateries around my local Pyrmont. A great find! Don't let the humble decors fool you as this serves one of the tastiest and delicious Malay cuisines. We ordered from the menu and chose the curry puffs, beef rendang, nasi lemak and mi goreng ayam. The servings may be modest but the flavours are authentic and home-made. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back. Good - Friendly customer service, clean, authentic flavours, value for money and good selection in the menu.Improvements - An upgrade on ambience like a bit of music & some promotion about the place; as I wasn't aware of this restaurant and I live locally.

We shared a plate of lamb satays, a roti with a small beef rendang, papprick vegetables and one rose and grass jelly drink. The highlight was the roti and beef rendang, terrific flavour. Service was friendly, not that professional, but who cares with a bill of $21, not per dish, not per person, but the total bill! Go before they put the prices up or go broke.

I just dropped my wife and son off to a show and decided to see what is around for lunch. Cam across this restaurant with amazing food. I had some great Malaysian food and the owner gave me some free Rendang to try with one of the dishes. Just beautiful food. Will be back with the family next time around.

They have a "pay what you like" day each month (last Sunday - but double check with them) which is a novel and interesting concept. Authentic and tasty. A bit spicy but nothing too extreme... so watch your portions of you are sensitive to spice... Réservez une table maintenant

Nur Muhammad offers authentic Malay food at a reasonable price. Whenever we have been there, there were Malaisian locals there too, a good indication of the good food. But is is more a place for take away than really to eat in

Food tastes very nice, price is generally cheaper than the other Malaysian restaurants around Sydney. Thumbs up. Service however is a little slow. But since food taste nice, the wait is not too bad.

Bottom line: we were seated 55 minutes late for our reservation after the hostess gave away our table, and when I explained the event later to management,
