Oakfield Farm - Réservation de table

I booked online this place as they offered table service for Sunday roast. The views were nice in the restaurant,it also had a farm shop. Staff were very polite, and food came out quick. Roast dinner was served with homemade style Yorky. They have Bluebells ice cream : Now the negatives- most of food was warm but not hot, the portion size wasn't very big, 3 cubes of carrot. Small spoon peas, 1 small brocoli stem. My preference would to just have plain carrots rather than coated in something. The choice of cauliflower on its own or with cheese. Also came with small mash and potato with skin on. The staff did ask if everything was OK. I said yes, as it was busy and didn't want to complain and...

We called in for our first visit for coffee and some sort of breakfast. I cannot stand for any length of time so told the man making coffees who came over to us that I needed to sit. All he said was “Have you booked?” Not the best first impression. The waitress was pleasant and seemed to grasp the specific dietary requirements of Coeliac disease. Unfortunately, the only ‘cake’ available was the ubiquitous Brownie. So my husband and I plumped for bacon sandwich on good GF bread, and a bacon roll. He was happy with his warm bacon, but my good amount of bacon was stone cold. I asked for well done bacon, but it was ‘normal’. The order came very quickly and perhaps wasn’t perhaps freshly cooked?...

I was really disappointed with this visit. I've been before and it's been great, what's changed? I was taking my freind out she chose a breakfast, I asked for pancakes. I was told they had ran out of batter?! It's great they make their own but really? Eggs, flour and milk? So I chose out of tge limited cake selection and it was limited , apparantly because it wasn't the weekend. I've never gone on a weekend and they have always had cakes. Is it just youngsters who don't know how to answer you? I asked for the Victoria sponge. Gosh, it was hard, I'd say stale. I mentioned it to the young lady and she offered me cream! Very disappointed in the response as she could see the fork needed forcing...

Visited for a Sunday lunch with family after previously going for breakfast. The positives: the staff were very friendly and attentive and the food came out quickly. The negatives: the portions were very small. One single broccoli floret, one single piece of cauliflower cheese (my mum didn't get any), small tablespoon size of mash and garden peas and not a great deal of meat. The quality of the meal was reasonable but not good value for money and therefore unfortunately will not be returning. It is a shame as the surroundings are nice and the staff were very friendly. 1st time visit yesterday Tuesday 13th June 2023. The cafe side was very nice. Great layout and some great features. liked the big windows and could see someone riding a horse around. There was also plenty of seating outside. A very good menu and decently priced. The drinks and food we had were very nice with just having to ask for more marmalade for my toast as the amount given hardly covered half a slice. Good efficient friendly staff. Also a nice little farm deli shop attached. Could do with improving parking, not sure what it would be like on a busy weekend

We visited as a family of 6 adults on 23rd July for Sunday Lunch. This was pre-booked by necessity as Oakfield is always busy. We all had Sunday roasts followed by sweets and coffees. My wife (being Coeliac) had Gluten Free versions. Tasty food, nice staff, great surroundings on a working farm. What you get at Oakfield is quality, well cooked food. If you want massive portions of bland food, then this isn’t the place for you. But if you want a very nice meal using the best ingredients, then you’ll love it.

This is the best farm shop and restaurant I have ever visited. I come here once a week for breakfast, lunch, coffee, cake, or to buy the amazing food from the farm shop. The Sunday lunch is out of this world. The staff are outstanding, the quiches are delicious, and even my one-year-old son loves them. It's a great place in a great location with fantastic coffee, food, and service. Plus, it's dog-friendly. What more could you ask for?

This farm shop is fantastic with top-notch butchers. The cafe is amazing, I highly recommend the Eggs Florentine and the steak stilton hot sandwich. The steak night is also excellent. Andrew and Karen, you should be proud of your establishment. Réservez une table maintenant

The restaurant is continuously improving and expanding their outdoor seating area. There is a wide selection of cakes to choose from and they serve a good cup of coffee with fast service.

My visit to the farm shop was disappointing. The deli was very sparse nothing like the promo video on their website. No quiches and large gaps. The pantry items were plentiful.
