Oakridge 1847 is my go-to pub in the neighborhood, and my friends and I visit at least twice a month. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and we have always been satisfied with our choices. However, last week we ordered two burgers (Oakridge and sunny-side) for takeout and unfortunately, they were overcooked and tough to chew. The burgers appeared grey in color, as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp for an extended period of time. The fries were also disappointing. Despite this experience, I am hopeful that it was a one-time occurrence and I plan to give Oakridge 1847 another chance in the near future.
I have consistently ordered from this restaurant, it has always been one of my top 3 choices on Uber Eats. However, I was very disappointed when I received my order today. I have tried the fish tacos before and they were amazing, but this time they were lacking in ingredients and were sloppily assembled. Some ingredients that were listed on the menu were missing. I encountered a similar issue with other items I have ordered from this restaurant. I hope that these issues are just due to the ongoing pandemic.
We happened to be driving by and decided to stop for lunch. We were the only ones there which worried us, was there something we didn't know? Waitress was friendly and attentive. Food was pretty good. I had fish tacos and wanted fries on the side but had to get a full order which I just took leftovers home. Just wish there was a smaller option. If driving through again I may stop again.
We had a delightful brunch for 6 people and our server was very attentive. The breakfast menu was fantastic, offering generous portions at a reasonable price. Our teenage granddaughters were able to share an item from the lunch menu, which was a nice option. We will definitely be coming back without any hesitation.
