I've been visiting Oberweis Dairy for years, but I've never experienced such poor service. I ordered a Turtle Sundae without fudge, only to find fudge added when I got back to my office. The woman at the drive-thru was rude, and when I returned to speak with the general manager, she offered no excuse. I mentioned I would report the issue, but she simply dismissed me, saying the days of great customer service are gone. Disappointing, especially considering their usual menu offerings.
Oberweis Dairy stands out as the top ice cream spot for at least 15 miles, if not more. Their variety is impressive, and the quality of both the ice cream and ingredients is unmatched in the area. My go-to choices are the brownie sundae, chocolate, chocolate peanut butter, and cookie dough. I'm not sure what their connection is to the neighboring burger joint, but the location is ideal. Just make sure to have lunch or dinner first before treating yourself to dessert!
I have been coming to this Oberweis for years and I have never had such bad service. Friendly service pretty slow and over priced. We litterally order two single scoop cones which took about 20 minutes to get. They where busy which was understandable. Then we got our cones which we just payed 9.50 for and there scoops were like a tablespoon. Basically charged me for the price of a gallon of milk for a few table spoons of icecream ?
