Pour être honnête, nous n'avons pas réussi à entrer dans notre restaurant de premier choix car nous n'avions pas réservé. Mais ils nous ont suggéré O'Bistro. De l'extérieur et du menu, cela n'avait pas l'air merveilleux, mais il était tard et nous étions déterminés à manger un cassoulet dans sa ville d'origine. Nous avons été agréablement surpris. Le cassoulet était excellent : canard croustillant, saucisse de Toulouse et travers de porc. C'était de loin le meilleur cassoulet que nous avons mangé pendant ces vacances, et à un bon prix. Hautement recommandé.
Mon homme a renvoyé son burger en arrière car l'intérieur était cru. J'avais commandé un prétendu curry de poulet, grosse erreur. Ce n'était rien du tout comme un curry, de gros morceaux de poulet sec sur une broche avec une sorte de sauce moutarde qui était versée dessus, avec des frites. Je n'ai pas pu manger ça après quelques miettes. La serveuse a mis un panier de bouillon sur la table avec 3 fines tranches de pain sec, que nous n'avons jamais mangées. C'était le pire repas que nous avons eu pendant nos 6 semaines de vacances.
We arrived at the restaurant and chose a nice table. Our waitress asked if we were eating, to which we replied yes. We were abruptly told to move two tables away, for very little reason other than this table already had cutlery on it. After...waiting 15 minutes and signalling to both the waitress and waiter I could not even get a menu or a drink, let alone food, the reason why we had been moved. So I can't comment on the quality of the food as we went next door where the service and food were excellent.
Visited here with family whilst having an overnight stay enroute to Spain. Myself, sister and brother-in-law had the burger which was very rare and we were all really ill the next day. The rest of our family were fine so we guess it was food...poisoning. The restaurant had a lovely ambience and the waitress was friendly and spoke some English. Not a great start to our holiday as I didn't feel well for several days. If you visit here, make sure you ask for your burger well done.

My husband sent his burger back as the inside was raw.I had ordered a supposed chicken curry ( big mistake). It was nothing like a curry, big chunks of dry chicken on a skewer with some sort of mustardy sauce poored over it and served with chips. I couldnt eat the chicken after a few mouthfulls. The waitress put a basket of bread on the table with 3 thin pices of dried out bread in it which we never ate. It was the worst meal we have had on 6 weeks holiday.
To be honest, we failed to get into our first choice restaurant as we hadn't booked. But they suggested O'Bistro. From the outside and the menu, it did not look wonderful, but it was late and we were determined to eat cassoulet in its home town. We were very pleasantly surprised. The cassoulet was excellent: crispy duck, Toulouse sausage and pork ribs. It was by far the best cassoulet we ate that holiday, and at a good price. Highly recommended.
Lunch at Castelnaudary. Plenty of parking space (note: out of season) Nice terrase, busy, which means the one waitress was very busy and stressed. Cassoulet menu was chosen: salad (small, but tasty), cassoulet (plenty, hot and rich), dessert (either fresh cheese or icecream) priced at...€ 23. Add a little wine and coffee, will bring the total to € 27,50 per person. A little too steep for the quality and service offered...
De nombreux restaurants sont fermés le mardi soir, mais j'ai réussi à obtenir une table ici. La nourriture était excellente tout comme le personnel, très amical et a même essayé de parler français. Je recommande vivement.

Lots of restaurants shut on a Tuesday evening but managed to get a table here. Food was lovely as were the staff. Very friendly and endured our attempts to speak French. Highly recommend
very good eating, nice staff and place. had a fantastic wein so everything I all very good experience. entré ziegenbrei and filet de boef sauce poivre. could go back and eat it again.
