Arrived at the venue for a 12.30 booking, table was dirty and wet from previous customers, asked for the table to be cleaned handed a piece of blue catering roll, so we cleaned our own table, sat for nearly 20 mins without being asked what we what to drink no menu’s given to us, waitress came over to get our order she then realised that we hadn’t had a menu or ordered drinks, she took our drinks order and got us some menus she duly brought the drinks, a short time later she came and took the order, then we waited and waited for the food after being in there for nearly an hour, the food came out, food was fine home cooked chips and homemade coleslaw. We then asked for the bill twice before it...
75 Aintree u3a members had our Christmas lunch here again last week. As usual, a wonderful afternoon with exceptional food, great menu choice, fantastic staff who go above and beyond and work so hard. Atmosphere here is so welcoming and you are always sure of a great dining experience. Thank you to all the chefs, waiters and waitresses. Couldn't be beaten.
Our food was outstanding as usual poached eggs perfect .. service with a smile an chat as always .. lovely atmosphere an pleasant happy cheerful staff as always .. never ever disappointed no matter what we order breakfast or dinner .. even down to hot drinks it's all made to perfection xxx
O'briens is a lovely tearoom in Ormskirk, West Lancashire. I have been there many times, both with my husband and a friend. They do breakfasts and lunches. They cater for large groups, couples and just individuals. Their menu is varied and they cater for vegan and gluten free.

Charming, friendly and great value for money. You certainly won't leave here peckish. Big portions all round. Good old fashioned British food. A lovely cafe all round.
Christmas lunch today. Excellent as always. Very nice atmosphere, wonderful friendly staff. Meals were served promptly with just enough time between courses.
