A rather long wait one is forewarned on the menu , but eventually, very good food arrived. The owner ? not very engaging. Living in Bali I thought he might have something to say about Thailand, but he did not seem keen to engage in a conversation, however short. Oh well, end of season exhaustion?..but the son ? more concerned and apologised for the long wait.... the Thai ? lady in the kitchen gave me a big, genuine, smile when I stuck my head round the kitchen door on the way out and thanked her for the spicy food, just-as-we-like-it, and she reminded me of service back home in Bali . I recently moved to looe and as I spent many years working in Bangkok I got used to eating Thai food. I was on my own last night and thought I would treat myself. Food was ok there was only a small portion of chicken which was rather poor quality. The sauce was extremely hot and made it difficult to eat. Then the price which was £34 for green curry rice and some small spring rolls with a large bottle of beer. Not good value at all I am sorry because if it was good I’d have been a regular. I recently dined at this restaurant for dinner and was very impressed with the overall experience. The price per person ranged from £20–30, which I found to be reasonable for the quality of food and service. Speaking of which, both the food and service were top-notch, earning a perfect score of 5. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also excellent, contributing to a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic meal in a great setting.
Certainly the best Thai I have experienced this side of Thailand itself and I 've tried 100 or more places for sure. Wonderful. Genuine Thai spicy. Hugely recommended. Completely authentic. The best Laab Gai I 've had in Europe. A must for all who enjoy the cuisine. Really surprised to find such astounding Thai food in what some might assume tourist trap Looe! Go and eat there. The food was overcooked and overpriced, but the worst part was the terrible service from the front of house staff. He was extremely rude when making our reservation, and even worse to other guests asking for reservations when we arrived. His attitude towards the waitress was appalling. It used to be a wonderful place years ago, but after this last experience, I will never return. This experience has put me off ever returning again.
The food at this restaurant is delicious and the staff is very friendly. I would rate the food a 5 out of 5 and the service a 5 out of 5. The atmosphere is also very good, I would give it a 4 out of 5.
