I discovered this place on a Google maps suggestion, as my Airbnb place is nearby. It doesn't look like a resto from the outside but inside is a nice little cafe/bistro with seating, and a TV mounted in a corner at the back playing the Food Network. The staff when I was there were all wearing chef whites. I ordered the feature of the day which was a pulled pork wrap with choice of side. It arrived generously burrito-sized with a huge side of fresh cut skinny fries (Yes, you can get salad alternatively as a side). The food is fast and fresh. There was a couple eating when I arrived, but I arrived close to their 3pm closing so it ended up just being me as the staff started to wrap up back of h...
My sister in law lives in Kelowna and has travelled a lot and is an authentic foodie. She boasted this place has THE BEST fish taco. This spot was awesome!!! I guess it started as an epic food truck, then it would be at markets and now it's a little spot. We had a party of 6 and we were energetically greeted. The fish taco was a popular choice but also we enjoyed the fries, the incredible chicken club sandwich and the pulled pork. All incredible!!!! Totally check this place out for good food and you will not be disappointed!!
Expect to pay around $12 for breakfast, which was the price both of the eggs benedict special and of the huevos rancheros we had. The eggs benny with back bacon my partner had were rated good, but not great. The potato fries were decent as well. The huevos rancheros weren't exactly what I would have called them. Scrambled eggs served on top of black beans mixed with onions and tomatoes. The flavours didn't exactly blend that way. Coffee was good, service was pleasant. Out of the way in an industrial area.
Okanagan street food is one of my favourite place to eat. They combine delicious comfort food with iron chef quality you will not be disappointed. All their condiments are made in house in fact everything they do is from scratch just like grandma used to make. I would post a pic of food but I ate it too quickly. Menu for the day is attached. Stopped for breakfast while in Kelowna recently. It's a little off the beaten path, but well worth the find. Awesome flavours, huge portions, fast service, reasonable prices, and a comfortable atmosphere. Breakfasts were so good, we will be back for lunch while we are here as well. Make this a stop when in Kelowna!
