After a horrible experience at Cheesecake Factory not receiving a refill, or a visit from our waitress, or even the appetizer we had ordered for a full 45 minutes we left seeing most of the kitchen staff outdoors smoking, we came to Olive Garden. My hubby was very doubtful at this point of anything going well. But when we arrived at Olive Garden we were seated immediately, our waiter Scott came over right away, took and brought our drink order and both appetizers very quickly. Went to McDonald’s across the street (at least terrible service is expected there... but surprising- they were more polite taking our order there) She Walked away the second she got our drink order. Not friendly or welcoming. Didn’t inform us on menu additions.. My SO would’ve had plain pasta had I not mentioned there were proteins to be chosen.. If I could leave no stars for the service I would! Our server was a middle aged African American woman and maaan she immediately had a disgusting attitude on our first interaction just by asking for the drinks! We went in with great energy and to start off like that was honestly disgusting. We left immediately after, we didn’t even take a sip of our drink. We will never come back here or recommend it to anyone.
I've come to this Walnut St. Cary, NC Olive Garden most of my life. I love it so much. You always get excellent customer service and delicious food. Erin S gave the best service of anywhere I've had food in years. She was fast, friendly, remembered everything, and very attentive. The food was good! I got the chicken scampi, and was impressed with the quality and portion size for the price. My better half got the lasagna and she really liked it. We're both big eaters and with the salad and breadsticks, we still had enough to bring home for lunch tomorrow.
