Never thought I'd be writing a bad review for ossies, what used to be the ONLY chip shop I'd use ,has now become one I'll be avoiding the last few months the chips have Not been the lovely chip shop chips they used to be !! They look and taste like frozen chips even though they said they are not they are NOTHING Like they used to be , wondering if same chips are used for home delivery
Always friendly, chatty, we love them. Freshly cooked always hot never greasy, fat replaced regularly, my big problem, my bug bare, can't stand the smell of old fat. They are amazing, well done to you all, 10 out of 10+ thank you for continuing to be the best
Best chips around ever !! Big portions lovely friendly staff too .....wish they did home delivery.....updating review....they deliver now !!! Yeeeees via uber eats ,you pay a bit extra but so worth it, I don't drive so Brilliant for us ,Thanks Ossies
The food is fresh and also very nice. Great portion sizes. A couple of items on the menu I haven't tried like a pea fritter and a battered Mars bar. Service is always friendly. Best chip shop in town I'd say Réservez une table maintenant
Lovely fish chips, the only problem is the wait time but everyone seems happy to wait for the food which they have a good selection.
Always receive a warm welcome. Food is cooked to order, so it is always fresh and delicious
