Osteria Romantica - Réservation de table

When I looked at the reviews for the restaurant there were many and, unfortunately, I ignored the ones that said that both the service and the food were subpar as I figured those were just picky eaters. I wish I had listened because the service was actually too quick. We had barely sat down when the waiter asked us if we wanted drinks and then wanted to take our food order at the same time. We were out of there in 50 minutes which certainly did not feel like dining. We split a ceasar salad. I had veal piccata and my husband had halibut. In retrospect, we should have returned all three things we ordered. I wish the food and service had been as good as the ambience which really was cute. Will...

Great experience to eat outside on a Summer evening to celebrate our anniversary. We had the lobster bisque which i don’t recommend it was like watery corn soup. I had the veal dish which was perfect and he had seafood ravioli which he liked. My Apeorol tasted off mixer? otherwise it was good. They serve hot bread but no oil vinegar dip. just plain. No acknowledgment of our anniversary from restaurant which we included in reservation.

The Linguine Nere (squid ink pasta with shrimp and scallops) was fantastic, as always! The Caesar salad and bread were pretty ho-hum, and service was very slow. However, this is the best pasta dish I have ever had, so will continue to come here every time we come back to San Diego! Hopefully they will have Lobster Ravioli back on the menu next time....

The food was below average overall, the bread fell short, and while one of our pasta dishes was quite good, the other was disappointing. The hostess was lovely and welcoming, but unfortunately, our server was rude and rarely checked in on us. For a vacation dinner, it was a letdown. Réservez une table maintenant

Great atmosphere and delicious food. Homemade gnocchi was awesome, but I'd recommend adding a meat to it. Great place to stop after a day at the beach with outdoor seating. Wonderful decor on the inside.

Cute place that’s all I can say. Food was less than average. No special congrats for our anniversary actually waiter was not engaging. Odd for being from Naples. First time here and last time.
