Whilst visiting our daughter and grandsons for 6 weeks I had occasion to pop into the tavern for a quick pint.Am I glad I did.What a nice place - the staff were so friendly and attentive.There was a young lady serving behind the bar and she wore a permanent smile.Unfortunately I didn't get her name.Then there was Jack - yet another lovely member of staff. Always smiling.Mind you I think he kept his eye on us as we were getting slightly tipsy one night - must have been the Grey Goose vodka !!!Anyway when we went in a couple of nights later he assured me that my behaviour was not out of order.Personally we couldn't find fault with the place and we'd give it a 10 out of 10.Thank you Pacific Pin...
Had a famil get together for lunch. The kids area was great. There was also a screen to watch them. The meals overall were great value for money, the kids meals were excellent. I had fish and chips which were fresh and tasty. Partner had $8 ribs which were just that nothing else. Burgers were enjoyed so,were the salads. Staff friendly and always cleaning up finished plates. Large selection on the menu. Great atmosphere. Enjoyed our time here.
I've eaten here quite a few times and the neals are... average. I like a good chicken parmigiana and the Tavern has only ever done it well once, most of the time they are dry, as if they've been under a grill for the afternoon. The Barra is nice!The sticky date pudding is fabulous!The meal sizes are great.The service can also be hit n miss depending on the server you get, most of them are great!
The fillet steak was ok but the chips were awful - greasy and stale. Worst chips that I've had in a long time. There weren't many patrons that night which may be why chips weren't freshly prepared. This tavern is in need of refurbishment, the seats need new cushions.

The atmosphere was amazing as well as our server! Definitely would recommend for families. Our little one enjoyed the little outside play area that kept him occupied as well as happy making new friends while us older ones got to catch up.
Great place for a meal at very reasonable prices. Not to forget to mention that the meals are some of the largest servings I have had. Good access to bars, TAB and parking. Kids friendly
Little drab decor and service bit slow but quality of food is great. Steak, or fish special at lunch time was very satisfying. Good value, $ 10 meals little noisy but expect that in pub
If I'm being honest, this is a 3* place but I'm a sucker for cute truck stop diners with adorable small town servers who are either 15 or 65 and you know
