Palmers At Ullesthorpe, Cafe

I have always liked this garden centre and have shopped here for more than 15 years every season. Now Palmers are running it they have put their stamp on it. I miss the aquatic centre and the little tea room but the whole place needed updating and a fresh look. I think they have done it, a better dining experience and much more choice overall, with keen prices and some great sale offers on quality products. The staff as always are helpful if at times a little stretched and always with a smile. Outside in the large car park you will also find an antique store and a small fruit and veg store, both are worth a visit.

This restaurant is one of the best garden centers around, with beautifully maintained plants. They offer a great selection of garden furniture and an impressive array of items to explore, including gifts and some clothing. Visiting is always a pleasure, both indoors and outdoors. Additionally, there’s a separate building dedicated to fish ponds, waterfalls, and aquatic supplies such as pumps and filters. They also have a wide variety of goldfish, koi carp, and aquarium fish. The staff at both locations are helpful and friendly.

I visited the plant shop in search of water plants, and I found the staff to be very warm and welcoming. The atmosphere included a mix of people of all ages and types, from the young to the old, and everyone was kind. I especially want to mention Margaret, who went out of her way to help me get water for my dog. The selection of ceramic plant pots was excellent and priced at less than half of what I saw online. The only downside was the lack of locally produced items. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place!

the caffe here is brilliant. always charging beautiful foods available and drinks. the personal is also very friendly. also the garden center has an amazing selection of plants and garden furniture. will definitely be back.

Good breakfast. Excellent value. Garden centre staff helpful. Still a lot of Christmas decorations out that need to be packed away

beautiful place. quality plants and excellent pet store. the young lady in pets corner was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

The smaller garden center was quite lovely, and the restaurant was delightful as well. The meal we selected was delicious.
