I finally stopped by Papa Al's Chicken and Waffles after driving past it too many times, and I’m so glad I did! The owner was incredibly friendly and took the time to inform us about the wait times for our orders since everything is made fresh. We decided to go for the wings and waffle combo, along with some corn fritters, fried pickles, and biscuits.
After placing our order, it took about ten minutes to receive our food, and honestly, the wait was worth it for the quality we got.

But when I walked in, I waited over 5 minutes to be helped b/c there was no one behind thecounter. It wasn?t busy, they just didn?t seem ready to serve (it was 11:40ish at the time on a Saturday). This spot boasts the best fried chicken around, without a doubt. The chicken is cooked to perfection—tender and juicy. I ordered three different sauces, and each one was delightful. As someone who takes sauces seriously, I can confidently say they met my high standards. The waffles were enjoyable as well, reminiscent of Costco's sugar waffles, but still quite tasty. I stumbled upon this amazing restaurant just before it closed, and I was truly impressed by the exceptional service and kindness of the staff. The food was delicious overall, though I wasn't a huge fan of the chicken sandwich; however, the sauces and chicken tenders were definitely my favorites. I will certainly be coming back to this place whenever I get the chance.

Wasn?t bad. Ordered the chicken bacon macaroni cheese along with chicken nuggets. First off the nuggets were tenders nice crispy. No complaints. Mac cheese with bacon was a tad salty. Definitely would try again?..
