Having lived in the area since 1999, with the exception of 2 years, I had never tried Old Salty's until tonight. I was craving some good old fish and chips (being from Cape Breton, it's hard to find it as good as back home). I have to say, this place nailed it! The batter was perfect, the fish was as white as snow, and the fries were great. The food was still hot by the time I got home, which was only a 10-minute drive. The batter melted in my mouth and I absolutely loved it. I will definitely be going back. My husband ordered the Cheeseburger platter and he said it was awesome. Very good food . I've had pizza, garlic fingers and have had the fish and chips . All good stuff. Delicious. Staff was patient with us because we didn't know what we wanted. Lol. and informative. Helping us with are choices.
