Pappa Geno's - Réservation de table

Four years ago, I found it slightly overpriced, but now the prices are outrageous. Sandwiches have increased by about 30%, and they’ve eliminated combo options, which means you have to pay extra for fries and drinks. While I understand that inflation and rising operational costs are valid reasons for these changes, charging $4 or $5 for a simple order of fries—whether they have cheese or not—feels a bit excessive, especially since they’ve also started nickel-and-diming on the combo meals. Additionally, the air conditioning is often out of service, which detracts from the overall dining experience, making it feel less valuable for the amount of money you’re spending these days.

Overall, it's pretty good. One of the better cheese steaks in town. The cheese fries and disco fries are good. I usually or the #1 or #2 but had to try the fat philly once. The steak is really good but I prefer more pepper on mine. The bread they use is really good too. Service is generally friendly. My only complaint is it is sometimes much too hot in the building. Definitely worth a place worth trying.

Delicious food, but I recommend ordering to go. This was my first visit to Pappa Geno's, and the temperature inside was uncomfortably high. I asked one of the staff members if the air conditioning was broken, and she informed me that it had actually been out for an entire year. They really need to fix the AC, as I can't imagine how tough it must be for the cooks in that heat. Food rating: 5/5.

It does not have air conditioning for a sandwich without French fries, nothing more than a small drink, 16 dollars and 22 cents, only meat and cheese, I could not eat it well since it tastes bad, I do not understand what is happening here, it is my first time and I say that it is the last time. I arrived for lunch since I'm passing through working here I made a very bad choice Réservez une table maintenant

One of the best Philly cheesesteaks I’ve ever had! The meat was tender, the bread was excellent, and the seasoning was just right. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but definitely worth it. It was quite warm inside, but I noticed from the reviews that the air conditioning was out. Food: 5/5.

Pappa Geno's has the best Philly steak and cheese in Houston! Extra provolone extra mushrooms is the way I like it, and they never disappoint me. However, I miss the fried mushrooms and I think they should add it back to their menu. Overall, five stars!Food: 5/5

The food is awesome and it's quick and easy. Great to eat on the go. Unless you're a newbie then you get all that Swiss cheese and stuff coming out of it. The girls that work there though are like mannequins that talks sometimesFood: 5/5

I give my car 5 stars. Great music, good company, private dining, mood lighting, elegant decor and perfectly adjusted air conditioning with cushioned, reclining seats. Sandwich was perfect BTWFood: 5/5 Réservez une table maintenant

The Philly cheesesteak was the best steak I've had in a while. I got my order fast the atmosphere was okay but still fit the mood overall I would recommend it.Food: 5/5
