Big beautiful place, really feels like an upgraded Cracker Barrel. The fried chicken was delicious, the yams were very good, avoid the ribs, as they taste boiled. Our server was very good, but he was very busy, and even forgot to bring us any plates until several minutes after he brought us our food, and I had to flag him down for that.Here's my biggest concern about this place... You are not allowed to bring leftovers home, so there is a TON of food waste here. Like, ABSURD levels of food waste. I asked our server what they do with all this perfectly good food being removed from every table by the bucket loads, and he said it just goes in the trash. Country/ family style dining at its finest. Staff were extremely friendly, the restaurant was super clean, and the food was pretty darn good. Located across the parking lot from Opry Mills, mall makes it a perfect spot to enjoy dinner with the family after a long day of shopping. The fried chicken is very tasty, the green beans were excellent, the dumplins were ok, but the biscuits were FANTASTIC ?Several beer and wine options as well. Kid friendly and handicap accessible
I really enjoyed the food here. You pay a set price per person and it's a family style buffet. The food was really delicious, I just wish I had a bigger stomach because I wanted to eat so much more. I loved the cheddar biscuits, chicken, creamed corn, mashed potatoes, and the gooey butter dessert (had to get seconds). The food was very well seasoned and came out fresh. I'd definitely come back just to experience it again.
Biscuits are great. Unfortunately it was the best part of the meal. Had chicken dumplings, fried pork chops, Mac cheese, green beans, and 2 desserts; banana pudding and peach cobbler. With Paula Deen's name on it, we were hoping for flavorful homestyle food. I've used her recipes and they are great. What we got at the restaurant was the Wish version of Cracker Barrel. Only thing worse was the service. Will NOT go back.
