After a disappointing 45-minute wait at another restaurant with no service, our family was treated like VIPs by the heartwarming staff at Peanut Bar in Carbondale, PA. Just when we thought our evening couldn't be salvaged, having already packed the kids into the mini van, a kind waitress noticed our dilemma and ran out to welcome us in. Our initial impression was that they were closed for a private event (which looked like one heck of a party, we will be looking into their catering services too! . She informed us that they indeed had a space that was perfect for us We were given a cozy booth at the back of the bar where we felt seen and heard. We were visiting from out of town and were really glad we decided to stop by. The service was prompt and friendly. The recent renovations featuring waterfront seating by a charming stream definitely enhanced our experience! Don't miss out on the fried cheese! Although it’s labeled as a bar, it's definitely a family-friendly place. This is small-town hospitality at its finest! We'll definitely return.
I haven't been in this bar for probably 15yrs and decided on a last minute decision to stop in with my friend. I gotta say the place looks great. We did feel old vs. the crowd. We being in our 40's and crowd 30's. It was however nice to see the place bustling. I wish I could have went in the gorgeous Cashew Lounge, but it was closed.
I attended trivia night at this restaurant and had a mixed experience. The fresh-cut fries were disappointing, but the coconut shrimp was incredible. I should mention that after expressing my concerns, they surprisingly removed the fries from my bill. Overall, the service matched the friendly atmosphere of the bar.

PHENOMENAL!!! I took my grandmother here for dinner, we were welcomed in as soon as we came inside! Awesome atmosphere!!! Our server CASEY was amazing on point! We ordered Bubba fries, wings and a quesadilla. All food was fresh,fast,hot delicious. Super clean updated. Highly recommend
We are always pleased when we visit the Peanut Bar. The food and service are consistently excellent. We especially enjoy dining on the back deck in the fresh air.
We spent the night on the Newly built outdoor deck!!! Food was great service was even better! A great all around stop!!!
I have not yet eaten here. But the menu looked great. The new addition is fabulous, and the outside deck is unmatched.
