Peg Leg Cafe & Bar

Extensive menu selection, entrees, sharing platters, main menu and side dishes. Dining area has a great tavern feel with padded bench seating and windows that open back out of the way letting the Sydney atmosphere in. Drink selection just as extensive. Didn't know Australia had...so many home grown gins! Decor fabulous all in pirate theme and the greetings from the owners who run the place make it worth stopping by for a drink.

Excellent budget option if you are looking for a place to stay overnight in the city center. This is my second time staying at the Peg Leg Inn. We booked a double room with en-suite and for $80 it was a great deal. the room...and toilet was clean and comfortable. Check-in, key collection at the pub(tavern) was quick and easy. Definitely a great option compared to other hostels/budget bnb in the city.

I've been here before and enjoyed it, this time we thought we would try it for lunch. Everything we ate we thoroughly enjoyed, fresh oysters at $4 each, great calamari, cooked to perfection. A good serve of fish and chips. This place is worth a...visit for their quirky decoration and great cocktails. If you are visiting Pyrmont, forget the trashy casino, come to Peg Leg instead!

I visited a cozy little pub in Pyrmont where the friendly bar staff made for great conversation and laughter. We sat around the bar area, with a few other tables off to the side. Before dinner, we enjoyed a drink from their selection of about 6 craft beers and a lovely glass of rosé. After our meal, we couldn't resist stopping for one more drink. very funny place. the owner manuel lies behind the bar and deals with the customers. Eating is great. we had burger and asked for an evening meal salat that wasn't even on the menu and they did a great job. we look forward to going back...tomorrow night!

Had one night at the hotel in the room on level 3 overlooking the balcony. Room was very cosy. Staff were great. Food amazing! Could have done with better coffee and more sugar. Great location. Not good if you can’t get up and down steps.

I went to this restaurant with some friends to try their cocktails. We ordered an espresso martini and a grasshopper, but we were very disappointed with how they tasted. The grasshopper tasted more like mouthwash than a cocktail.

I really enjoy this fantastic pirate-themed bar. I have made many great memories and enjoyed delicious drinks there. I highly recommend trying the cocktails and beer. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Réservez une table maintenant

Absolutely no complaints! Great food and great management! The owners Colin and Manuel were friendly, down-to-Earth and very helpful. Lots of regulars always popping in and out. Good drinks and simple yet tasty menu.

An awesome pub. Have a few drinks in an awesome quirky bar, with an pirates theme. Great staff that will make you anything from a pint of pale ale to a virgin mojito. Open till late.
