I had a great experience at Perks Coffee And Gift Shop during my visit for the Powder Bulk Solids 2023 Conference. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly professional and helpful. The location is convenient, with easy access to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center and a variety of eateries through interconnected corridors. The surrounding area is bustling with entertainment, dining options, and shopping. Highly recommended!
I was shocked by the ridiculous prices at this restaurant. I purchased a Hint water three times on different occasions, and each time it was an outrageous $3.73. However, during my last visit, the price suddenly increased to $5.01, which left everyone confused. When I brought it up, they claimed it had always been $5.01 and implied that I must have been mistaken. On the same day, my Starbucks coffee was also $1.64 more than I anticipated.
This place doesn’t have price tags on anything! In today’s world, how is that even acceptable? You only discover your total after waiting in a really long line for 15 minutes and then they ring it up. Seriously?! When I asked why there are no prices displayed, they said it’s been that way for 12 years. Wow! They seem stuck in the past, and no one challenges them because it’s a hotel with a constant flow of guests.
The restaurant is conveniently situated within the Hyatt hotel. Prices are on the higher side, as is typical for a hotel restaurant. Unfortunately, the prices are not displayed, so you only find out how much things cost when you reach the register. I visited this place multiple times, and each time they requested a tip for bagging my items. Frustrating. Réservez une table maintenant
The staff was friendly, but the absence of prices on the menu made it difficult to gauge the cost of items, particularly for larger orders. It would be beneficial to have digital prices shown if they choose not to label each item. Other than that, I enjoyed their late hours and the diverse selection of options available.
The food here is excellent, and the service is outstanding! They speak Spanish, so if you converse with them in Spanish, they'll be very accommodating. We're from San Antonio, TX, where we know our tacos and enchiladas, and the verde enchiladas here were amazing! The atmosphere is fantastic too!
I had a great experience with easy access to O'Hare, a delicious breakfast, and outstanding customer service from everyone, including the reception, housekeeping, and restaurant staff! I will definitely be returning. The connection to Park, Sleep, and Fly is also excellent!
This coffee shop, situated right in the hotel lobby, exceeds your average coffee spot. They have a nice variety of pastries, sandwiches, and drinks, including beer, wine, and juice. Although the breakfast buffet doesn't include quality espresso, the service is outstanding. Réservez une table maintenant
The hotel and staff were excellent. My only issue was with obtaining a mobile key for my room. The front desk informed me that authorization had to be done through the app, but I never received it. Despite this, I still give the hotel a high rating.
