Hands down the best plain slice I can remember in a long time. Highlights: Crust is perfectly foldable, is nice and thin but not too thin, and has great flavor Sauce and cheese ratio is great and both have great flavor They rip fresh basil up and grate Parmesan from a block on top after it comes out of the oven. Adds so much depth to the smell and taste So many terrible pizza places in Queens, I don’t know how they stay open. I’ve been searching for something like this for years. Philomena's may not be the best pizza spot in Queens, but it’s certainly among the good ones. Their menu features a very thin and crispy crust that stands out. While the square pizza didn’t wow me, the personal pies were quite enjoyable. If they could improve the quality of their ingredients a bit, I’d easily consider them the top choice. Either way, I’ll definitely be ordering from Philomena's again in the future.

Amazing pizza! The thick crust was wonderfully soft and airy in the middle, with a perfectly crispy base. The sauce had a deep, flavorful taste that clearly reflected careful preparation, unlike the canned sauces used at many other spots. The Italian soda complemented the pizza perfectly. For dessert, the tiramisu was a delicious way to end the meal. This is exactly what you want from a pizza place!
This is the finest Neapolitan margherita pizza I’ve ever had, especially the crust. The ingredients are exceptionally fresh. Be ready to wait at least 40 minutes for your pizza, so I recommend ordering ahead of time. The owner makes the pizza right in front of you, which I think adds to its outstanding taste. They take their time, but the end result is absolutely worth it.
Philomena's has always been a favorite, but when it became difficult to get a pizza delivered, they dropped a few spots for me. UNTIL TONIGHT! They’re now offering only personal-sized pizzas. I was skeptical at first, but this is absolutely brilliant! People in NYC usually just need a personal pizza anyway. And wow, it was incredibly delicious! Thanks, Philomena’s!

The staff at Philomena's are kind and attentive, and the pizza tastes fantastic. I tried two plain cheese slices and was impressed by the lightness and flavor of the dough. The balance between sauce and cheese is just right. I will definitely be returning.
Small but hopping. Call to order in advance, took about 1.5 hours for pick up for two personal pizzas.
