Phil's Famous Pizza Steaks

Food and Value Trumps All!. The food is FANTASTIC! From pizza to steaks to Huagies to pasta. My family tried everything and loved every bite. What people don't understand is they're BUSY. Friday evenings are a zoo, so if you want more attention, some gratitude, then don't come during their busy times and for heaven's sake, know what you want! I have heard customers over the years take too much time to order, or want their food a special way. To be honest, I would even crank. I'm going for food and value. I appreciate all the years I went to Phil, whether I have a smile or not! You can go to Berwyn Pizza for low-quality food.

I think most of the negative reviews reflect food items that are not pizza. The cheese pizza and the upside down pizza are some of the best I?ve ever had. I don?t say that lightly! The sauce is sweet, , the cheese is perfect portioned and the sauce taste like fresh garden tomatoes! If you?re going to get a sandwich this might not be the place but if you want a perfectly crafted pizza this will be a life changing experience.

Typical place to serve Pizza, Steaks, Burgers, etc. Nothing highly unusual on their menu. Quality of the food is usually good and dishes are made to order. There is no buffet of pizzas to choose slices from (except plain slices for lunch specials). The staff sometimes displays a bit of an Italo-Philly attitude but are never rude and care about their customers. The seating area has an open layout which is nice.

Great place to grab a phenomenal slice of pizza. I sometimes come to lunch with staff and the staff recognizes us and are always friendly. The pizza is the perfect level of the crumb and the sauce/cheese ratio is just right. In any case, if you have the chance.

Phils is the classic pizza joint you remember from behind in the day, best cake in the area!
