The food here is pretty good and I’ve ordered from them many times, but one day ordered their chicken noodle soup and had a horrible allergic reaction (I don’t have “known” allergies). I called ahead to ask what was told in her veggie reisnudel dish in sweet broth (vegan pho) sellerie, as ingredients are not on their menus. ordering by door dash, filled on request for no celery (allergy, possible anaphylaxis risk, I can take it out, is okay, but I have mild reaction on it when I consume) and extra cilantro. the command came without. I didn't check any best that was ignored. Being there a number of times. Food is decent and price reasonable quite comfortable seating. All 's fine except service. The owner (or his wife) seemed to have certain attitude. On our last visit, she was obviously annoyed when we were little bit slow in placing orders. Later, she even verbalized her displeasure when we requested some service by saying why didn 't you say so and hurry up [note: the restaurant wasn 't even one third full at that time] However, to certain type of customers (the owner of his wife will know what I mean) she demonstrated fawning attitude. We do not need this kind of discriminatory attitude in North Vancouver. Really disgraceful. Never come back again.
For the price we paid, we didn't get a whole lotta bang for our buck. Seems more expensive than other pho places, and for the $9.95 for a large bowl, it wasn't really very large at all. There was hardly much meat, not even a lot of noodle. It was OK to feed a small appetite, but wasn't very satisfying in terms of feeling like you had a good fill. For what I got, I might expect to pay $7-8, not $9.95. Oh, and very stingy with the limes too. Tiny quartered pieces! Or was it quartered of a quarter...? Réservez une table maintenant
my fathers have come here for some time, he took me yesterday and I was glad to see that they had veg options. I called before the time to see if her pho chay (veggie nudel supp ine) was vegan and was sure that the broth was sweet broth and that it is vegan. I had the veggie pho nudelsuppe and veggie salatrolls. they were both good (not disturbing but out of this world) and I liked that the supper had a decent amount of sweet in it. service was great and very friendly. I would give it a 3.5
This restaurant is amazing. The food is always delicious. Prices have increased after COVID, but that's been the case everywhere. It's disheartening to see negative reviews about the owner's service. In my experience, she has always been fantastic to both me and my wife. We are treated like family by the owner. Thank you for the delicious food and excellent service.
