Pierce Tavern has quickly become a staple in Downers Grove. It’s prime, corner lot location in downtown Downers makes it easily accessible by both train and car. I’ve had multiple dishes on the menu and each is as good as the next. I’m honestly a pretty tough critic, but have to say this place is always at top of mind when planning dinner and drinks. The bartenders are quick, friendly, and efficient. Management seems present and attentive to operations as well.
Pierce Tavern is such a hidden gem! The ambience is super relaxed and cozy. Everything was clean. The cocktails are absolutely amazing. The food is delicious. And the service was fantastic. Rose was wonderful — such a great personality, had great recommendations, and timed out all the food we ordered perfectly, which we really appreciated. Definitely can't wait to go back!
This is a decent spot! Food and service are good and the menu is definitely unique and interesting. I personally love the animal fries and would highly recommend upgrading to them if possible. The vibe of the place is very relaxed and loud, so I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you have any hearing problems or aren’t a fan of loud places.
Food came out of the kitchen quickly and was delicious! The maple bacon brussel sprouts are absolutely killer!!! My steak sandwich was cooked perfectly and so we're the cauliflower bites. The bar tender that served us was on point and the atmosphere is unique and homey. I will definitely be back. 5 out of 5 all day. Super solid place. Réservez une table maintenant
3 1/2 Stars. First, the bartender Mckay was great. The food not so much, the fries were old the BLTTA+E was just ok. The bacon was over cooked for my liking. Nice space n bar.
Great staff and atmosphere. Food was delicious, but have to agree with some people's comments food was over hyped. Will come back again.
The two ladies working door should really watch what they say and keep their prejudices comments to themselves
