The fritters were super crispy and every element that went with it was yummy! The tanginess of the salsa, saltiness of the grilled haloumi and richness of the smashed avocado all yummy flavors!<br/ <br/ French toast challah bread topped with lime mascarpone and sweet almond dukkah and maple served with bananas and strawberries! 4.5 <br/ I enjoyed brunch here over the weekend and just loved my experience. The service was lovely and warm, the interior (especially that pink brunch sign) was gorgeous and the dishes were delicious.<br/ <br/ What we ordered:<br/ <br/ Wonder Vegan<br/ <br/ This is such a delicious dish. They absolutely pack it full of avo, mushrooms, vegan cheese, olives and kale. All of the components worked perfectly and I was very impressed by the serving size and the presentation. <br/ <br/ Sweet life of pancakes<br/ <br/ The pancakes were sweet and fluffy with a very generous topping of ice cream. Huge compliments to the chef on these! These were the first thing to disappear....
I enjoyed a lovely brunch here with some fellow foodies over the weekend.<br/ <br/ The exterior and interior is a little bit retro, but also very cute and welcoming. Lovely little family owned cafe in the heart of Ormond. Friendly team and a cosy space. The menu is a nice mix of brunch favourites and dishes that embrace the owners Indian heritage. <br/ <br/ Make sure you try mum’s chicken curry on one of your visits, it’s everything a home made curry should be full of fragrant herbs and spices. The pancakes are probably their most photogenic dish and they’re a lot of food. They’re quite a sweet option, and they change them frequently so there’s always a new take on them to enjoy. This cafe is stunning and inviting. The staff is incredibly friendly and the service is top-notch! We decided to sit outside on this beautiful sunny day and enjoyed a fantastic brunch. The food was outstanding - fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. We ordered the açai bowl, which was packed with fresh seasonal fruit and house-made granola, as well as the delightful sweet life of pancakes.
Spring has arrived in Ormond, and it's great to see a café that offers fully vegan dishes without sacrificing flavor. I love indulging in a Super Salad for brunch, and it's even better when a café can swap out pulled pork for slow cooked pulled jackfruit. It's a win for those of us who prefer ethical dining choices. Plus, the fact that it's gluten-free is a bonus for me.
I enjoyed these perfectly poached eggs and tomato chutney w/ a freshly brewed chai and it was soooo good! Sometimes less is more and simple food always do it for me! Let the beautiful! <br/ <br/ Platform one is situated in the Ormond strip of shops on North Rd, near the station. Very accessible and a great spot for a feed.
YUM YUM YUM Where do I begin?! This café was absolutely amazing. The coffee and smoothie was delicious, the french toast was amazing, the curry was unbelievable and the fritters hit the spot These guys know what they are doing!!!
