I ordered the steak, shrimp and chicken dinner. I asked them to cook the steak medium. The steak was so hard I couldn't even chew it , the shrimp was small and mushy and to make matters even worse it kept me in the restroom for hours. Oh yeah and I paid $68.00 for two dinners and a piece of cake. I threw the other dinner in the trash and the cake. It was suppose to be a surprise for my husband for his dinner. I'm glad I ate before he came home and it only made me sick and
Pollo Cabana was a revelation in a strip mall. I like Peruvian food- but this was one of my favourite meals, ever. The bite of the ceviche was perfectly balanced by the sweet potato and two kinds of corn, a salty, roasted variety and Cuzco (sp? corn, a softer, almost exploded variety. The chicken was spiced perfectly; my husband was quietly content. The extra sauces add a little extra zing if you wish. And I indulged in the dulche de leche cake. Words fail. Worth every
This entity deserves my 5 star rating because the food was very tasty, you get hefty portions for your money, the Wai was minimum, the cashier was very nice and helpful, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the dining area was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We ordered takeout after a long day of travel and we’re blown away by the flavors! The ceviche mixto is the best ceviche I’ve had in the continental US. We also enjoyed Chaufa de Pollo and Linguine a La Huancaina Con Lomo Saltado. All were incredibly delicious and there are so many more menu items we’d love to try. Absolutely recommend! The food itself is not too bad. Portions are big but I?ve never paid $20 for shrimp and chicken fried rice. Seems a bit steep for what you?re getting
