we make a point to visit the pony when we are in sydney. I rated it last time with five stars. it is probably still so good, but this visit showed how bad service can let down the entire device. our French waiter told me that my lambskin would be pink if I ordered medium-breasted. it wasn't. lamb is not a good meat if it is rare. Wonderful relaxing lunch, greeted by friendly staff at Pony. Enjoyed cocktails to start followed by lovely food, washed down with a bottle of wine. Food was beautifully presented and our glasses always topped up. The only small grip was our bottle of wine was placed...on the bar area and took it's time to make it to our table by the staff. I highly recommend and I will be returning when in Sydney.
