So I 've been going to this establishment at least 2-3 times a month for the past couple years.My last 2 experiences have not been great, at all. First bad experience was when I spent $15 dollars on a 5 piece tender combo and when I asked for sauce I was told this only comes with 1 sauce fine whatever I dealt with it but for how much food, one sauce is not enough.Today was the best of these bad experience and the one that will stop me from visiting this location altogether. As I 'm waiting in the drive through lane I saw their advertisement for the Oreo cheesecake, I just had to have it. Once I place my order and go up to the window the lady hands me my bag, with no sauce and no cheesecake,...
I really enjoy Popeyes, but every time I visit the location in Middletown, DE, I either get flat soda (Sprite) or the wrong order. When I notify corporate about it, they offer a biscuit as compensation, which feels underwhelming. It’s frustrating to get home excited for a meal, only to find that I've received something I didn’t order. Gas prices aren’t low, and I really don’t want to keep making trips back and forth. I’ve tried to be understanding, but I’m no longer interested in their food. Thanks, Popeyes, for disappointing me once again!
This is the worst popeyes I've ever been to. They give Cornish hen sized chicken pieces. Worst of all.I ordered a classic chicken sandwich 2 times within a 2 week period, and was sick as a dog which kept me up all night going to the bathroom. I rather drive to Bear or New Castle if I want fresh and normal size chicken. It's very unfortunate how this location is ran. They don't represent the Popeye name well at all. FOOD INSPECTORS NEED TO VISIT THIS LOCATION ASAP!!!!
This food chain advertises numerous promotional deals but this particular branch actually sold out of their wing specials n also did not offer any their 5 special. We decided to get 16 piece meal, I guess 2 sides n 4 biscuits but the cost for this was 48, ABSURD!!!8 They should be ashamed of themselves for charging that amount of . With that kind of , u could get 8-9 rotisserie (whole) chickens. This chain needs to re-evaluate their pricing structure.

Asked for 3 piece White, meat. I know you need help, but don’t even hire them if they can’t speak English or even understand. Asked for rice, no beans but thought at least it would have flavor. Man said no soda he said no, you get extra biscuit. Didn’t get that either and the one I received was hard and dried out. 11.99 for garbage.
The chicken sandwich I had was not good at all. It tasted off, as if it might have been past its expiration date. I’ve never had this issue at the Route 40 Fox Run location, where the food is always excellent! Unfortunately, I will not be returning to the Middletown location again.
This place is TERRIBLE!! I went to the restaurant at 6:00 pm, given that I ride a motorcycle, I don’t like the drive-thru and prefer to order inside. However, they demanded that I go through Drive-Thru. This place is misleading! If you don't offer dine-in take it off your website!!

This is our favorite Popeye's spot for fried chicken. There are only a few locations nearby, but this one is our top choice. It's not crowded and the drive-thru is convenient. I hope it remains that way when Target opens after the construction is finished.
