Decided to go a day trip with a toddler from Tulsa. Need to have kid friendly activities and more toddler size t-shirts. Food wasn't too bad! Got me a Norman Burger. Chocolate Malt was good. Got chicken tenders and fries for toddler...cute sippy cups for kids. My partner got the Mac cheese burger. I love the Architecture of this building and the concept with the sodas...just feel that it's very cramped. Luckily I was there this 2nd time at a slower time (10:45am). My first time was an awful experience with how cramped and busy it was. Made my experience, where I just picked 1 soda and got out. Some suggestions: Covered outdoor patio for dining, a playground outside for kids...bigger bathroom...
We visited Pops 66 for lunch on our way across the country. I had their sampler that included queso fries, fried pickles and the chicken quesadilla. All three were very good but the pickles were definitely my favorite. My hubby had a chili cheese dog and fresh fruit. His was messy but good. They have more soda flavors than you could ever imagine. They had nostalgic candy, most of which I remember from my childhood in the 70s 80s. Their gift shop was filled with a variety of souvenirs including the different kinds of soda for purchase. This is a really neat place to visit along route 66. Grab a bite to eat expect a wait) then take your time snd shop threw all the different pops. A great, yet crowded place to get out of the heat for z bit. The food was actually really good and not horribly over priced like you eould expect. There's more than dough parking for bikes, cars and rvs in the large parking lot. Wheelchair accessibility: Although it would be some what tight, a wheel chair would fit
How this place has 4.5 star reviews is mind blowing. People obsessed with taking pics with that silly bottle out front. People obsessed with soda. The worst part is the food. It’s awful. Burgers with no flavor. The chicken sandwiches are dry and flavorless. I’ll never understand people obsession with this place. It’s easily the worst stop on 66. The food is a bit pricey, but very good! The servers are very kind and attentive even though it is a busy establishment. The unique selection of sodas is a huge draw as well. The atmosphere is the best part of this place, though. I've been going here since I was little and it was an instant classic. If you're visiting Oklahoma or traveling route 66, you NEED to come here Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great place to find unique flavored pops they have a lot of cute Route 66 souvenirs. Some items are a little high-priced, in my opinion. I didn't order anything from the restaurant, but I heard the food wasn't that great. It's still a cool place to check out! Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
