Staff were lovely, I came for an exhibition 11-12th October not far from here. Service really let me down with there being almost non existent wifi connectivity, which was really important for me to do work, considering that my phone signal didn't work either for me to use as personal hotspot either on both my personal and work phone. The minute i get to the car park I got full range, in my room no signal. When I spoke to the reception they advised this was a common issue, and that they would get virgin media to redirect the signal to my room? (How they would do that?, not sure), but it did not happen. The lady at reception was really friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was as a premier inn, and it was clean that's the main thing for us, and beds are always comfy, the location was good for us as we were spending a couple of days sightseeing in the area we actually stayed another night as it was a perfect location for us Nearby activities: Evesham country park is literally on the doorstep,great little steam train ride, shops eateries, a park for the kiddies with an adventure park/mini golf and lovely walks Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Great value
I was in town for work and had a pleasant stay here, to be honest. My room was lovely, although the bathroom fan was constantly running, which was a bit bothersome. Aside from that, the staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The Beefeater next door was a nice bonus. I highly recommend trying the cheese fondue on their Christmas menu—it's fantastic! Overall, I'd rate it: Rooms: 4, Service: 5, Location: 5. Hotel highlights: Excellent value.
good standard nice double room. good heating and facilities. fool proof key card for security doors and room. Food drinks: Beefeater adjacent good evening meal. I visited for a family funeral in Defford, and the location was perfect. We had two rooms for four adults, which was ideal. The breakfast was delicious and just what we needed. Overall, the rooms, service, and location were all excellent. This hotel offers great value!
