I have stayed in Marriot hotels all over the world and have to say that the Hotel President Wilson was a complete Marriot disappointment. From the minute we showed up, to the horrific room we had, to the service nothing about this hotel was enjoyable or worth the almost $1,000!!! Our bed was so uncomfortable that we woke up with sore backs which ruined our day in Geneva. The manager did authorized a new room which was better why they even make anyone stay in the room with the bad mattress is beyond me. Amazing service. Beautiful rooms. We spent 1 night here and had a lovely time. The room is beautiful and well appointed. The service was above and beyond. We got to the hotel early ~11am) so the room wasn't yet available but they quickly offered to store our bags while we went sightseeing. They called about an hour later to let us know that the room was ready and the bags had been delivered to the room. When we returned, we found a BEAUTIFUL cake in our room along with juice drinks and a handwritten note wishing my wife happy birthday. During my last visit, I heard staff members make extremely misogynistic and shocking remarks towards a female member of the service team. I will never return to this establishment, and I would also like to ensure that those responsible for these appalling comments are duly reprimanded. I find it extremely disturbing that such violent, perverse, and antiquated remarks are tolerated in a luxury establishment. This is absolutely unworthy of the standard to which this establishment claims to adhere.
This is a contemporary, upscale Marriott property. Despite checking in online the day before, and arriving on a Sunday, they would not provide us a room until just after 4 p.m. My impression was that, like some other hotels (more often in Europe than in the U.S. , they simply refused to allow people access to the rooms before “check in time.” If that’s the case, it’s disappointing. The pool area is very nice, with a view of the lake, and the location was an easy walk to downtown.

Nice presentation. The different dishes were delicious. We were pleasantly surprised to see lobsters in the seafood corner. The staff was attentive and very pleasant. We found the dining area quite loud, the discussions made challenging. Too bad the water wasn't Swiss. Thanks for a nice brunch.
