Puebla's Mexican Kitchen

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Houston. It is beautifully decorated, the service is fast and friendly, and the food is good overall. My latest visit was earlier this week, and although the food was good, it's not how I remembered it. I ordered the chilaquiles rojos with two eggs, which were overdone by the way (I requested them sunny side up). The coffee with cinnamon was delicious as always. They have a small parking lot, so you'll probably have to park on the street, but hey! This happens all over the Heights. All in all, it's a good spot to eat authentic Mexican food. I highly recommend it.

Overall an average place. Wait time was shorter than predicted. Service could use some improvement. You are told a table number but you walk yourself. Menus took a few minutes to be given to us. Chips and salsa are very good. Chips look and taste homemade. I ordered the green chilaquiles but could not finish them. The tomatillo sauce had a very sour taste; as if mixed with a ton of lime juice. The agua de Jamaica was very delicious. Parking is very limited. Would give it another try.

Food that makes You feel at home. Simple menu but something for everyone. Chips and salsa are addicting in addition to great service! Can't believe I hadn't been here sooner, truly have been missing out...

Food is bomb! The chilaquiles were some of the best I have ever had! Definitely recommend. I got both red and green, but I think the green was better. The torta was also good

Hands down.This is my favorite breakfast spot! The staff rocks!
