Having been a regular customer of the Pyrmont bridge, I was extremely disappointed to be denied entry on the night of my mates 21st birthday. This was despite mates of mine who had clearly been drinking being granted entry. Having come directly to the pub from work (despite consuming any alcohol) I was denied entry on the grounds of being to drunk... Being the operations manager for a hospitality company my experience leads me to believe that management has given the bouncers to much free reign over patrons who they do and don't grant entry to the venue. Food for thought when it comes to profitability and customer satisfaction!!!! Extremely disappointed.

Stopped in on a brief walking tour and shared the beef and guiness pie ($18.50). The pie had a strong, beefy flavour, and i found the chunks to be tender and pretty generous in the filling. This came with a generous portion of thin chips. Beers seem to be a little expensive, and being close to the tourist strip PBH feels a little worn. Outside of this there are a few sneaky balconies as well as a rooftop terrace and bar, so great for a sunny day or balmy evening. I understand the crowds. crumbs-au.com

Decided on this place as we were in the area recently. Really decent pub meals, good range of food options, well priced, tasty and ridiculously large servings. Service was reasonable, also a reasonable range of beers. Given the area is quite touristy, to stumble on this pub was a pleasant surprise.

Ah, the PBH. An old faithful when it comes to finding a watering hole near the casino, but not in it. Went there for a post-function group gathering mid-week. After midnight, there is no bottle service, and everyone is eventually "invited" downstairs at a certain hour of the morning. Réservez une table maintenant

Small scale and nothing fancy, but has all the trappings of a good corner pub. Good food which is good value in generous serves. Delivered hot and timely with an array of condiments to choose from. Nobody off put by extra splashes of Tobasco...

Great steak! Cooked perfectly as were the accompanying sides - and generous portions. The pate and pancetta wrapped asparagus complemented the eye fillet perfectly. The atmosphere is warm and friendly with an old style local pub feel.

So, they have a "toss the boss Tuesday" thing where you if you buy a schnitty and win a coin flip you get your $15 back in the form of a gift card type

Always a good spot to come to later in the night. Good atmosphere and fun times. Nice range of beers and good set up. Réservez une table maintenant

This is an interesting pubI'd been here late for drinks after a conference once before and found it good.
