OMG. Breakfast burritos was just awful! I have been wanting to go Raymond’s for their fabulous breakfast burritos. I had them many times and every time I had it, i love it! I haven’t been able to go there since the pandemic. Today I finally went and got it. I can’t believe it was just AWFUL, horrible, below average. Rice was not cooked right dry and not tasty, burritos was grilled or something, pork was not tasty scrambled egg was all right. What a disappointment! Hope that they get their cook back or get the recipe. I hope that the owner or the management tastes what they serve their customers. Disappointed customers!
Everybody loves Raymond 's! Excellent brunch, coffee, and service. I came here without a reservation on a Saturday afternoon-3 kids, 2 adults, and we were seated right away. The Tumeric Latte was a huge tasty treat. Then my Lower East Side Corned Beef sammy with "secret sauce "and swiss on marbled rye was so good that I finished all of it even though I wasn 't that hungry. My whole crew enjoyed their meals so I have no doubt that their entire menu tastes great. Yay for Ray!!! NOTES/TIPS: Easy parking deck and difficult street parking right by it. Wheelchair-accessible.
We came here Saturday around noon with a group of four, and they still have many seats. I’m usually just not a dessert person, but the FRENCH TOAST here…is just wow. I only had a few bites of French toast from my partner, and I think I had the best French toast in my life so far. The steak and egg I ordered was pretty nice too and with a reasonable price. I will definitely come back if I visit Montclair again next time.
I stopped by at Raymond’s for some lunch and had a great time. I’ll definitely come back to try their breakfast menu. The Belgian hot chocolate was so delicious. Definitely add a marshmallow to yours. The Mac and cheese was also very delicious and a huge portion. This is a great dish to share. For me I could only eat half so I could have done the side of Mac and cheese instead. Very friendly staff! Réservez une table maintenant
I found this cute little restaurant tucked away in Montclair. I looked up the reviews before I arrived was very pleased. I ordered the Raymond’s original french toast. It was topped with fresh bananas, blueberries mandarin oranges. I also ordered a side of bacon and a Yogic Chai Latte. Everything was fresh and made to order. I will definitely be returning.
Ordered Takeaway via Ubereats. The steak frites had clearly been tampered with. Looked as if someone stuck two fingers into steak and twisted around. We asked for Medium Rare and it was dry and over cooked. We also ordered the brick chicken. We didn’t feel safe eating the order so we trashed it and ordered something else.
