It was our first time here, and we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was! Both my husband and I had heard good things about the menu, so we were quite happy with our choice. We ordered brisket sandwiches, which I found to be tender and moist. The weather was beautiful, so we managed to find a table outside— I enjoyed the sunshine while my husband sat in the shade. Worth every penny! What a delight! The brisket offers a delicious blend of tangy, mildly spicy, and smoky flavors. The buns have the perfect density for a sandwich. The mac and cheese tastes homemade and is incredibly creamy. The pit beans are spot on and honestly could even pass for dessert. The dining area features plenty of tables and some shaded trees. It’s impeccably clean, with no litter in sight except for the trash bin. Ample parking is available as well. There’s no reason not to try this place—give them a chance!
They stayed open an hour longer than usual because of their kindness in catering 28 people late at night. These ladies flawlessly completed our order while remaining gracious and patient. What an amazing BBQ sandwich! The atmosphere is fantastic, and the tangy, smoky BBQ paired with the incredible potato salad is a must-try. If you haven't enjoyed BBQ in a while, this little spot is definitely worth a visit. It truly has everything—wonderful people, beautiful views, and delicious food!

Hell yes! Exactly the kind of authentic BBQ place I was hoping it would be. Hidden gem well worth the stop of I-40. Brisket very tender with a nice kick. Highly recommend for real barbecue afficianados. Wish it was Saturday so I could take home some ribs, too. Don't let the location fool you!
If I could give ? stars I would. Don't be deterred by the location. This is some of the BEST bbq I have EVER had!!! And the people are sooo nice. I wasn't even hungry but I ate the whole brisket sandwich. Can't go wrong. I highly recommend this place if you are going through Moriarty NM.

Ribs without sauce is always going to svorw lower lower on my chart. The Mac and cheese side is nearly in a cup as big as tiny Dixie cup. Onion rings were OK and slaw is too milky and sweet.
The very best burger and coleslaw I have had in quite sometime. Veteran owned, delicious fresh food and outdoor seating. Highly recommend!
