Dropped in to this restaurant on the fly to order a chicken and avocado burger with roast chicken option. Now the picture in store shows a beautiful burger with plump pieces of roast chicken and bacon. What was served to me was along way from the promise. It was quite simply disgusting. The burger bread was so stale and hard it was like it had been last weeks. I complained and another burger was produce. Maybe because I dared complain the second effort was even worse. Quite simply inedible. The bread stale. bacon hard as a rock - chicken was just scraps including limp greasy skin off cuts and gristle. The lettuce was a yellow colour with brown edges. The restaurant is clean, staff are attentive to customers and the overall ordering process is fast and easy. The stores management is relatively new so I could imagine what it'd be like adjusting to a new environment, ensuring the right staff are hired etc. This Red Rooster is in a great location, it has plenty of car parks, along along with heaps of indoor seating, toilets etc. Great location for lunch or dinner, it has a cosy and quiet feel when eating in.

Their problem-solving skills are quite impressive, I must say. The majority of the food was prepared well, with the exception of the sweet potato fries (some were too thick and difficult to cook properly). The main issue that stood out was that the staff needs to be mindful of their noise levels, as we could hear their conversations while dining in the restaurant.

This restaurant was the first one in a long time to give us fresh chips and chicken. The communication from the staff manager to the workers was fantastic. As we dined in, we could hear him making sure orders were going out correctly and everything seemed to run smoothly. More take away food stores need managers like this. Keep up the good work! This Red Rooster offers FREINDLY staff and the normal Red Rooster menu that you will find on their stores around Melbourne- clean and easy to walk to or park it is well worth consideration if you are looking for a snack to watch the city lights and enjoy a relax after a days work and only 3 mins from the ALT

I don't expect much from a fast food place....but this is the worst. The service is unfriendly and not helpful, and the food makes you feel greasy and unhealthy..... Even by RR standards, this is on the low end of the scale

Red Rooster is a franchise fast food joint - better than Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC for the younger generation), and they are usually open on public holidays if you get stuck.

Only 3 minute walk from ALT Tower Apartments 18 Mt. Alexander Road. Nice food. We had chicken, chips and salads. Take away or eat in. Réservez une table maintenant
