My wife and I were on our way to visit friends in Hopkinsville when we needed to stop for gas and lunch. I spotted the sign for Hanson Historic, so we decided to take a detour and check out your restaurant. Since we both love catfish, we couldn't resist trying it. I have to say, it was the best catfish we've had in a very long time. The service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was so friendly. Oh, and the hushpuppies were fantastic too! We'll definitely be coming back soon. Thanks, Al!
Good food and fast service. We had no complaints about any of that. However, they seemed to be overwhelmed and the one server continually said I’m sorry I apologize at every table she went to and even when we paid our bill. That was not necessary and kind of annoying. It was cold in there too. At 32 degrees outside, they needed the place warmer and turn off the ceiling fans.
Food was delicious, his hush puppies are the best along with the pickled green tomatoes! The food is always served hot and the service is phenomenal!.... and not expensive either good food great price!
I recently visited this restaurant for the first time since the new owners took over. The Cajun shrimp was delicious, and the hushpuppies were incredible! I definitely plan to return. Thank you! Réservez une table maintenant
