Five years ago, I would have given this restaurant a five-star rating. I have tried almost every burger and chicken sandwich on the menu and enjoyed them all. My husband always liked the French dip. However, in the past year or two, the quality of the food has declined significantly. Their attempts at other cuisines have been disappointing. Last summer, I ordered a chicken enchilada bake that lacked flavor. I had to add Tabasco sauce to make it palatable. My father's pork tenderloin sandwich was tough and difficult to chew. Family of 5. Ordered steaks to hot dogs. The chili burger was rated good by my 15 yr old son who polished it off in record time. The NY strip was good according to my wife. The sirloin was not cooked correctly according to my mother. (rare is not medium) The French dip was not served on a firm French baguette but rather on a hotdog bun that fell apart the moment it touched the au jus. I had to skuttle the bun and eat the beef with a fork. It was tasty but a disaster as far as a sandwich goes. The service was great, the waitress was attentive and friendly. Everything was bad! The nachos with cheese were microwaved, with tomatoes, green peppers, and that's it. The server was super pushy, didn't ask us if we wanted dessert, and just kinda pushed us out the door. I gave her a 10% tip, because of the service. BUT..... she added $5.00 more than I tipped her. Like that's not what I tipped you. And i will be calling the manager. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. I will NEVER GO BACK. Lastly the food is super overpriced...
Me and my wife just went there both ordered the same burgers at the same time but didn't get them at the same time server was like oops I guess I made a mistake you can share and I'll bring out the other when it's done, I mean really! Then we couldn't get no drink refills... Will never ever go back to that place the only time our server was Johnny on the spot was when it was time to pay the bill! I guess she thought she was gonna get a tip Nottttt!

We decided to go to Remington's, it had been almost a year, and it WAS good then. So dissapointed! Staff was friendly. Ordered drinks, Manhattan- not, nor good. Then waitress forgot about us. Ordered fish special and Western ribs. Fish; genetic, frozen. Tarter sauce, yuk, I ordered fries, got slaw!? Ribs dry, black, hard, and room temperature! Salad bar, boring, and what there, not very good. What happened?
Very good food and wonderful service! Have been eating here longer than I can remember as my grandparents brought us here. Steaks are great, onion log is definitely popular and my daughter swears by the chicken strips and potato salad! Their staff is friendly and do a wonderful job of making you feel at home!
I HAVE to do an update! I got food poisoning from my fish! And this was not your usual I don't feel good for 24 hours... I was SICK for 5 days! Almost went to the hospital at the end as Montezuma's revenge would not go away. After talking to locals, several told me of similar experiences! NO WAY ever again!
The cream cheese-filled jalapeño poppers were actually filled with cheddar cheese, and the onion brick was not to my liking. Some people seemed to like it, but overall, I would not dine at this restaurant again.

I used to enjoy the breaded tenderloin at this restaurant, but the quality has significantly declined. It's disappointing since it's the nearest restaurant to my home, but I won't be going back anytime soon.
